Local 817 Location Community Professionals,

We’re excited to announce that we’ve been working with MOME to secure space for this year’s Photoville Festival!

This is a fantastic opportunity for location professionals to showcase their artistry and profession to thousands of New Yorkers.

We are seeking 3-10 talented location professionals with outstanding images to represent our community at the festival.

How to Submit:

📅 Deadline: Friday, February 28, 2025

📸 What to Submit:

• Your best location images showcasing community diversity, New York’s architecture, and landscapes.

• High-quality images that represent your professional eye for locations.

Selection Process:

• Submissions will be reviewed and organized by Malaika Johnson and Sarah Crofts.

• Photoville will then select and print the final images for the exhibition.

Festival Participation:

If selected, you will have the opportunity to:

🎤 Speak on educational panels about the role of a location professional.

🏫 Engage with school field trips at the kiosk on opening weekend.

💰 Receive a stipend (provided by Photoville) for these engagements.
