“This agreement, negotiated and ratified seven months in advance of the expiration of our current agreement, markedly improves wages, benefit contributions, and working conditions. Of utmost importance, beginning today, it will begin to restore the health of our Welfare Fund, which has been adversely impacted by the recent pandemic, followed by protracted strikes, all during skyrocketing medical inflation.
