Created in 2006 by MOME (Mayors Office of Media and Entertainment), the Made in NY awards shine a light on the film and television artists who bring the streets and iconic locations of New York City to screens around the world and encourage global audiences to visit, work, and live here.

   About the honor, President O'Donnell had this to say: “I’m honored by the recognition of the importance of the film industry to our great city and the role organized labor plays in its success. On behalf of the two thousand theatrical Teamsters I represent, I thank Mayor Adams & his Administration for supporting this vital industry.”
