Hello Motion Picture Teamsters,
The AMPTP and WGA met again on Friday to continue to exchange proposals. Late Friday afternoon the WGA shared that they will continue to meet with the AMPTP this week. The specifics of the conversations between the two parties during this time has not been made public. The WGA and SAG-AFTRA however both have stated that they remain committed to address the core issues of their members.
As we hear more information, we will share via email. If you hear of any Motion Picture Teamsters NOT receiving email updates, please share this link with them so that they can sign up for updates.
The WGA and AMPTP being back at the table is the first step in bringing this strike closer to an end, and our members back to work. We will continue to stand in solidarity with both guilds in their fight for a fair contract, while also remaining committed to do all within our power to get our members back to work.
